One of India’s finest musicians, Tarun Bhattacharya will play a concert on hammered dulcimer (santoor) accompanied by Jyotirmay Roychowdhury on tabla. The concert will benefit Matagiri in Mount Tremper where a new straw bale super insulated house is being completed.

Tarun has recorded numerous albums with many of India’s finest musicians including Ravi Shankar’s “Chants of India” produced by George Harrison. He has played in Woodstock previously with many lovers of jazz, classical and world music finding him to be one of the most exciting live performers in any tradition.

Jyotirmay is an outstanding emerging talent who is also available to do tabla repairs for local musicians.
